Appreciated nicely furnished and large rooms.

The hotel was remarkable and clean, had spectacular views over the town. Bar was perfect for breakfast. It was based in nice building in an absolutely perfect and excellant location, to a cafe where there was morning sun. I ate in the lobby restaurant nearby

I recently stayed at the Townhouse Stadt Hamburg for a weekend getaway. The hotel is perfectly situated on the main square, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely drink or meal while people-watching. The recent refurbishment has brought the hotel up to a high standard, and my bed was incredibly comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and went out of their way to help when there was a problem with my reservation dates. Additionally, the rooms were clean and the internet access was affordable.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The Steinberger Stadt Hamburg hotel is a nice hotel situated on Wismar's market square. The hotel is very nice, it's quiet and well kept. Be sure to park on the free car park on Dr Leber Strasse as this saves money. It's only a two minute walk to the market aquare.

Only downside is the price for their breakfast. Far too expensive. Don't include it in your booking. Go to a local backery of which there are plenty in the neighbourhood.

the room was quite and comfortable

we wanted to book a table for 6 Persons for breakfast next morning and this wasn`t possible. This is poor for a hotel like Steigenberger.

Ideal and pretty standard hotel!

Quiet room, cozy with a good shower. Unbeatable and excellent location, restaurants and cafés in front of the hotel.

Booked a room with marvellous views over the town. The food was outstanding, the breakfast was great. This accommodation had a super central setting on the beautiful market square.

Location: the hotel was short walk to the center of the architectual gem that is Wismar, and the Wismar market place.

tidy, good value hotel, its location was absolutely perfect and nice and near to the city center in the so called markplatz, the square, and the centre of wismar. in general the staff were efficient and attentive. the breakfast was excellent, the check in was easy. had a very nice stay for business trip, no complaints whatsoever.

our recent date night in wismar was amazing! townhouse stadt hamburg made it truly special, exceeding our expectations. the friendly staff, comfortable room, and outstanding breakfast left a lasting impression. can't wait to visit again!

Something was missing.

Hotel was pretty standard and exceptionally comfortable and I truly enjoyed the food there, it was excellent. I booked a fashionable room complete with the shower, a balcony plus a great view. The breakfast was good, the check in was quick.

it was very easy to switch on the Pay TV, even if you didn't do it.

Good restaurant, great location to explore Wismar, value for money hotel staff not entirely up to the usual Steigenberger standard but perhaps that comes with a provincial small city...

Seems at busy times a space at the hotel underground garage requires pre-booking - that had not been made clear at the time of booking so had to park car at (nearby) public car park (which was free but a 5 minute walk away...)

I always choose this place, no regrets. The staff gave me a cold drink when it was hot, which I remember. Perfect for me with Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and a bar. Coming back for Christmas.

great food, very nice staff, all very clean

There was a problem with my reservation dates, but the reception staff were more than willing to come up with a solution. Rooms are clean and internet access was cheap at EURO 4 for 12 hours.

The rooms are somewhat basic, offering just a single bed in my case. Restaurant is understaffed meaning that the excellent food takes quite a long time both to order and to arrive.
